Festive evening of Wine & Song with Classical Tuesdays in Old Town

4 Dec

Join Classical Tuesdays in Old Town Tacoma for Wine & Song 2018! This is a fundraiser for the Classical Tuesdays series of free concert events held at Slavonian Hall and Old Town Park September through February.

Erin Guinup, Founding Director of Tacoma Refugee Choir, will perform “Ladies of Lyric and Song: Female Composers of the American Theatre” including some jazz, operetta, and contemporary cabaret. She’ll be accompanied by Marjorie Skreen-Dickerson on piano. Afterward, guests will enjoy a lovely spread of wines and finger foods.

Come prepared to make bids on some fantastic silent auction baskets. Neighbors and businesses have contributed a terrific variety of gift certificates. Alfredo Russo is offering 2 passes for a cooking class at Europa Bistro, Jon Douglas Rake and Jeffrey Stvrtecky of Tacoma Musical Playhouse are offering 2 tickets to a theater performance, Bill Evans of the Pacific Northwest Shop is putting together a generous basket of Northwest bounty, Harbor Lights has donated a dinner certificate for 2, and many other delightful gifts to be discovered in the baskets!
