The concert will feature the Sounds of Japan and South America: Miho Takekawa on marimba and Diego Coy on the quena, a traditional Andean flute. Miho and Diego combine their distinctive warm, natural wood sounds and take the listener on a musical journey from Japan to South America, playing a brand of music that is truly their own. CDs will be available at the concert.

This concert is just the start! Check out the roster of the entire Classical Tuesdays season featuring a variety of world music and classical music performed by Tacoma professionals and youth. All Classical Tuesdays concerts are held in Old Town; most start at 7 pm in the historic Slavonian Hall.
