Registration is open for Tacoma City Ballet’s Summer Intensive
Are your kids staying on their toes this summer? Tacoma City Ballet (TCB) has opened registration for their eight-week Summer Intensive! Running July 9 through August 31, this program offers concentrated study in Classical Ballet, Pointe, and Conditioning for dancers aged three and up. Enrollment is open to returning Tacoma City Ballet students as well as dancers new to the school. Many local ballet students find that the summer intensive is a wonderful opportunity to explore what TCB has to offer.
With a wide variety of classes and workshops designed specifically for different age groups, the TCB Summer Intensive has opportunities for dancers of all levels. For young dancers interested in performing with the company in the 2012-2013 season, Performance Workshops are offered for ages eight and up. These workshops explore choreography, preparation for the theatre, and include personalized coaching from TCB’s artistic staff. (See information about the dance company’s new Junior Company, below.)
