Eat Sliders at MOG (But Please Don’t Touch the Glass)

We’ve never seen sliders at a museum fundraiser before, but then we’ve never had gourmet bites like the ones being concocted by the South Sound’s finest restaurants for Shake, Rattle and Grill, the First-Ever Slider Cook-Off & Tasting at the Museum of Glass tomorrow night.

The Slider Cook-off & Tasting is inspired by John Miller’s five-foot-tall Slider goblet – a visually delectable golden calf for those who worship the art of the burger. Miller’s richly stacked Venetian goblet is part of The Gathering: John Miller and Friends exhibition on view at MOG. Chefs from Adriatic Grill, Asado, the Hotel Murano’s BITE, Chambers Bay Grill, HG Bistro, Maxwell’s and The Social Bar and Grill will compete for the best slider (check out the full menu in the Weekly Volcano). The event features live rock & roll music by Daryl & the Diptones, games of chance and prizes; 1950’s-era attire is encouraged.
